Group of minors entered a Vons store located in the 16000 block of San Fernando Mission Blvd in an attempt to steal some alcohol. Upon exiting the store with the alcohol one individual used a weapon and discharged a round. No innocent citizens were harmed and police are investigating the situation. Please contact your local police department if you have any information that may help apprehend the suspect.
I also wanted to bring awareness that California is issuing CCW (conceal carry licenses) to it's citizens that meet the requirements. The process is fairly simple but the backlog is over a year right now for processing an application. If anyone is interested please reach out and I'm happy to guide you through the process. Always remember as much as we rely on the police they can not be in all places at all times. Each citizen is their own first responder and it's our responsibility to protect ourselves, our loved ones and honest hard working law abiding citizens.
Once again proof that you are your first responder and as great as police are they can't be everywhere all the time!!!
Investigators say that a hidden tracking device inside of a stolen designer purse helped them in the arrests of several members of a burglary crew targeting several Southland communities in recent months.
According to Los Angeles Police Department members of the group are suspected of committing at least 20 home burglaries in West Los Angeles and the San Fernando Valley.
"The M.O. they were using, they were going along the side of the house into the rear yard and smashing one of the windows and going inside," said LAPD Detective Timothy Kirkpatrick.
